A term introduced in the Chapter Black Saga, "Territory" is a power used by most Psychics which enables their supernatural abilities to function within a certain area. Those caught within a Psychic's Territory becomes subject to his/her powers and must follows the rules of that specific Territory.

History[]
The first time the term is mentioned (in the Funimation Dub of the Anime) is during the Chapter Black Saga by Yu Kaito. Later on, Genkai elaborates further on both the functionality and practical use of Territories when she confronts Yusuke and the rest of the gang.
Known Users and Abilities[]
Sensui Seven[]
- Kaname Hagiri: Sniper - Allows Hagiri to place "bullseye" targets upon an opponent's body which causes all his ranged attacks to home in on them. However, this Territory is only half that of his maximum firing range at a mere 200 meters.
- Kiyoshi Mitarai: Seaman - Allows Mitarai to create and manipulate shapeshifting monsters by mixing his blood with water. As his Territory exists within these creatures as a separate dimension, they're nigh impossible to pierce through.
- Minoru Kamiya: Doctor - Allows Kamiya to manipulate an individual's body chemistry (be it another person or even his own) so as to create a number of different effects, from increasing one's physicals abilities to creating deadly viruses.
- Sadao Makihara: Gourmet - Allows Sadao to absorb whatever powers and/or abilities a person might have by consuming them.
- Tsukihito Amanuma: Gamemaster - Allows Amanuma to bring video games to life, forcing those who're trapped within his Territory to experience whatever happens to them inside the game they're currently playing.
Yusuke's allies[]
- Kazuma Kuwabara: Dimensional cutter user - Considered by Seaman as "The One", he has the ability to both summon objects through his Spirit Energy. Later on, he's capable of summon his Dimension Sword to cut through dimensions. He awakened this dormant power while trying to free his friends.
- Yuu Kaito: Taboo - Allows Kaito to render violent actions and certain words forbidden within a radius of 10 meters, those who break this rule have their souls extracted, leaving them in a state of near-death.
- Asato Kido: Shadow - Allows Kido to exert control over shadows for a number different effects like paralyzing a desired target by stepping on his/her shadow or manipulate objects when he himself cannot.
- Mitsunari Yanagisawa: Copy - Allows Yanagisawa to perfectly mimic another person by touching them. Not only can he replicate a target's physical appearance, but he can even copy their abilities, their DNA, and their memories.
- Shigeru Murota: Wiretap - Allows Murota to hear any and all thoughts within a 27.5 meters, although he cannot filter out any unwanted thoughts.
