Natsume (棗 Natsume?) is a fighter and another one of Raizen's Friends who allied with Yusuke Urameshi and participated in the first Demon World Tournament, advancing deep into the main tournament before losing to Mukuro. She is a former sparring buddy of Raizen and the fraternal younger twin sister of Kujou (only in the anime).

Appearance[]
In the Demon World Tournament, Natsume wore a sleeveless top with red around her waist, trimmed with yellow, as well as form fitting white pants. She wears her brown hair tied back with a magenta bow.
Personality[]
In contrast to her more active twin brother Kujou (anime only), Natsume seems to be the more reserved of the two. Despite seeming relatively taciturn, she grieved at Raizen's grave, along with his other comrades, even seen comforting Kokou as she cried. She seems quite neutral to Chu during their fight, however, he seems to grow fond of her as he follows her around. She claims she doesn't usually date men who are weaker than she is. She tends to look down on those weaker than her, but she does begin to respect and admire Chu's perseverance eventually (despite reminding him she still wouldn't date him).

Natsume is an old friend of Raizen who is Kujou's twin sister and she competes in the Demon World Tournament along with her brother and friends. They are probably the most powerful opponents that both Yomi and Mukuro have to face during the tournament.

In the preliminaries, Natsume easily eliminates Chu on their block. Afterwards, Chu asks her out, but he's rejected. Natsume says that he is too weak, which prompts him to vow to become even stronger. She goes on to fight Mukuro later on in the Demon World Tournament, losing only just barely.
Later, she is seen training Chu herself, asking him if he wants to quit, to which he shouts no. Later, in a conversation with her brother, she states that Chu was getting very strong and would soon catch up to her. Kujou asks if she would date him once that happened, to which she says no, but she's also quick to defend Chu once Kujou insults him, saying that no one knows what will happen in the future.
Powers and Abilities[]
In battle, Natsume possesses a great amount of fighting experience, due to her intensive training with hundreds of years of experience. This training has shaped her into a keen minded fighter. She can move at a very fast speed, to the point of being on par with Mukuro herself.
She is able to accurately target an individual by intercepting him/her while on movement, constricting or cutting off any openings from only a minimal contact of her palm. She does this with Chu, being able to immobilize him with a single movement.
Abilities[]
- Upper S Class Energy: Although not much was seen of Natsume's powers, it can be assumed she is extremely powerful since she is an S Class demon, and remained on par with the likes of The Three Kings after centuries of not fighting. She was also powerful enough to force Mukuro to her limit, losing only just barely, likely due to her prior two fights, especially the one against Hiei.

Natsume intimidates Chu by preparing an Energy Blast with her own Upper S Class energy.
- Energy Blast: Natsume can gather blue demon energy in her hand and send it towards her opponent. While she did not do any blast at all, she was ready to do so before Chu surrendered in their preliminaries fight during the Demon World Tournament.
- Energy Concealment: It is the ability to control and reduce the latent energy of a user, which can be attained after intense training and seclusion, and if the user is also an adept martial artist. Natsume proved to have great power within herself when she and Raizen's friends released their true powers, thus proving their excitement to enter the Demon World Tournament.
- Flight: This is a special ability where the user manipulates their Energy so that they can levitate or fly.
- Super Speed: During the Three Kings Saga, it becomes a more common technique among users, used for more advanced movement and dodging, and as a base for other movement techniques with all types of Energy. Natsume can fight on par with Mukuro, despite the fact the latter was in fact restraining herself.
