Due to the popularity of the series, There were many merchandise released worldwide.
Overview[]
In Japan, various collectibles such as trading figures, plush dolls, and gashapon toys also exist. A collectible card game based on the franchise was released by Movic. In North America, the series saw licensing for apparel from ODM, lines of action figures by IF Labs and Jakks Pacific, a Skannerz electronic toy from Radica Games, and an activities book from Scholastic. Score Entertainment created the Yu Yu Hakusho Trading Card Game for release in the United States. An English guidebook to the series titled Yu Yu Hakusho Uncovered: The Unofficial Guide was published by Cocoro Books on October 12, 2004.

These figures were released during the 90's, and were only available in Brazil. They were made out of a high quality rubber so they could be safe for young kids to play with.
IF Labs: Yu Yu Hakusho[]
In 2003, IF Labs, an American toy company, had the rights to produce figures based off Yu Yu Hakusho.
Series 1 contained Yusuke, Kuwabara, Kurama and Hiei, while Series 2 contained Yusuke in his Dark Tournament outfit, Botan, teenage Koenma and Suzaku.
A planned Series 3 containing a shirtless Yusuke, Younger Toguro, Shinobu Sensui and Yoko Kurama was not released.
They also released a series of smaller figures called Spirit World Warriors, which contained Yusuke, Kurama, Kuwabara, Hiei, Suzaku, Rinku and Sakyo, as well as a limited edition Yusuke.
Yu Yu Hakusho Styling Figure[]
In 2008, Bandai put out a set of 7 figures based off the Dark Tournament saga, These figures contained Yusuke, a special edition Yusuke with messy hair, Kurama, Yoko Kurama, Hiei, a special edition Hiei and Koenma.
The figures were praised for their likeness and the quality.
Yu Yu Hakusho DX Figure[]
Banpresto put out a series of Yusuke and Kurama figures in 2005 as crane machine prizes. Hiei and Yoko Kurama were later released in 2006.
Anime Heroes: Yu Yu Hakusho[]
Popy made a series of Yu Yu Hakusho chibi figures in 2007, it contained most of the main characters, including Chu, Raizen, Itsuki and Keiko
ARTFX Yu Yu Hakusho[]
Kotobukiya released a series of figures called ARTFX, and they are known for their quality. They released 5 Yu Yu Hakusho characters.
Yusuke, Kurama, Kuwabara, Hiei and Yoko Kurama were released. They retailed for around $90 each.
Eventually, the figures were out of production so their prices went up (especially Kuwabara), Bootlegs of Yusuke, Hiei, Kurama and Yoko Kurama also started popping up on various websites, so the real ones are harder to find.
Eventually, the figures got a rerelease in 2018, to celebrate the anniversary.
Union Creative: Yu Yu Hakusho[]
Union Creative produced a series of figures based on Yu Yu Hakusho.
Genkai was released first, and she scales very well with the ARTFX figures. Kurama and Yoko Kurama were later released
Funko Pop Yu Yu Hakusho[]
Funko Pop Yu Yu Hakusho brings the popular Japanese anime and manga series direct to vinyl collectors.
The Pop! Animation set contains several options from the Ghost Files story that centers around a teenage boy killed while trying to save someone.
Although Yusuke Urameshi dies, the paranormal story is far from over. The Underworld Detective headlines the anime set in an all-green outfit.
Collectors can also find Kazuma Kuwabara, the orange-haired frenemy who wields his Spirit Sword.
Other figure choices include blue-haired Botan, the pilot on the River Styx who brings the dead to the underworld. She wears a pink kimono and rides an oar similar to how a witch uses a broom.
Although still going by his demon name, Yoko Kurama takes human form. Rocking red hair and a pinkish uniform with gold trim, the Kurama figure holds the thorny Rose Whip.
Finally, Hiei is an exclusive release at Hot Topic and Funimation stores. Hiei is dressed in black and is ready for battle by unleashing his Black Dragon Wave.
Nendoroid Yusuke Urameshi[]
"The Other World's not watching for nothing!"
From the anime series "Yu Yu Hakusho" comes a Nendoroid of the Spirit Detective protagonist Yusuke Urameshi! He comes with three face plates including his confident standard expression, his intense shouting expression and his joking expression.
For optional parts, he comes with Spirit-Gun and Spirit Shotgun effect parts as well as Puu and an interchangeable front hair part to display him with his bangs down. Be sure to add him to your collection!
Pop-Up Parade[]
POP UP PARADE is a new series of figures that are easy to collect with affordable prices and releases planned just four months after preorders begin! Each figure stands around 17-18cm in height and the series features a vast selection of characters from popular anime and game series, with many more to be added soon!
The next character to join the POP UP PARADE series is Hiei from "Yu Yu Hakusho", the Demon born in the Glacial Village that possesses a Jagan Eye and is a master of the Darkness Flame. He's been recreated with a stern expression, glaring down his enemy with his Jagan Eye open. Be sure to add him to your collection!
From the anime series "Yu Yu Hakusho" comes a POP UP PARADE figure of the fox-demon reborn as a human who has a sharp mind and the ability to manipulate plants, Kurama! His stern, yet cool expression has been faithfully recreated, and he has been posed holding a rose, which he can also use as a weapon. Be sure to add him to your collection!

Card Game[]
The Yu Yu Hakusho Trading Card Game was first published in 2003 by Score Entertainment, and is based on the anime and manga series YuYu Hakusho (the series is spelled Yu Yu Hakusho in FUNimation's anime version and spelled YuYu Hakusho in the Viz English manga). It is a two-player tournament-styled collectible card game; each player uses a deck of forty-four or more cards that is headed by a team of four character cards. The game was discontinued in 2005.
