Jyaki (邪鬼 Jaki?) is the first demon Yusuke apprehends in his career as a spirit detective.
Appearance[]
He is a mischievous little imp with blue skin, yellow eyes, purple hair, and two tiny horns. He has five previous convictions and is able to take control of other's minds and influence their dark side into committing evil deeds. When he does this for the sixth time, to Sakamoto, Yusuke manages to beat Sakamoto up and force Jyaki out, leading to his apprehension.

- Both Jyaki and Asato Kido share the same seiyuu.
- While Jyaki shares his Japanese voice with his at-the-time host Sakamoto, he has a different performer for the English dub.
- Jyaki is an exact depiction of an amanojaku, being malicious and wicked imps within Japanese folklore said to find and tempt individuals to commit heinous deeds and evil acts.
