Gagaki (我我鬼, Gagaki^?) was a member of Team Spirit Warriors that fought in the first round of the Dark Tournament. He was killed by Younger Toguro single-handedly along with his other teammates with the latter only using 45% of his full strength.

Appearance

Gagaki has the appearance of a large ogre with tan hair, light-brown skin, and pale yellow eyes in addition to having a small horn on his head (the horn is significantly larger in the manga). His wardrobe consists of an open blue vest with a pair of spikes at the end of each shoulder plus a brown speedo and lavender wrestler's boots, similar to his teammate Babaki. His forearms are wrapped in bandages and has more around his midsection. He carries a good-sized mace with spikes as his weapon of choice. Gagaki had the least amount of alterations done to him from the manga, aside from his horn size, with the most notable changes being that he wore pants instead of a loincloth and was somewhat stockier compared to his anime build.

Personality

He did not have a high opinion of Younger Toguro when the latter voluntarily stepped forward to take on his team single-handedly, claiming that five whole matches in a row would be too much for the latter. He was not above attacking Toguro from behind just after he had finished killing Dosukoi.

Synopsis

Dark Tournament Saga

Gagaki and the other members of Team Spirit Warriors were matched against Team Toguro in the Dark Tournament's first round, but were surprised to see that Younger Toguro was the only one who appeared to face them. Toguro asked them if he could fight their entire group alone, which Gagaki doubted even the old champion could handle. Toguro surprises them further by stating he meant to fight all of them in the ring at once, but they ultimately agreed when Toguro belittled them for only having size as their advantage. In the anime, Dosukoi attempted to charge Toguro with his Hundred Hand Fist, but was easily killed by the latter before it could land with only 45% of his power. Gagaki was next to attack with his spiked mace but Toguro merely punched him in the abdomen which blew a hole through and killed the demon. In the manga version instead, Gagaki loses his head to Toguro mere moments after Babaki is killed (the latter being the one to initially charge Toguro in that version).

Trivia

• "Gagaki" translates to "shit" or "feces".
• Gagaki is the second of the Spirit Warriors to die in both the manga and anime, but the circumstances around it are altered. In the former, he gets decapitated around the same time as Babaki who is Toguro's initial victim. Whereas the latter has Dosukoi as the first to die after which Gagaki attempts to smash Toguro with his mace only to have the latter blow a hole through his lower torso.
