Sniper continues his battle against Yusuke, using a semi-trailer truck as a projectile, and is nearly victorious until Hiei arrives. In a swing of his sword, Hiei incapacitates him. Hiei later fights Yusuke, only to prove the point the motivation that harnesses spirit energy. Hiei decides to join in the group in an attempt to stop Sensui.

Hiei rejoins Team Urameshi after having left to be on his own in "The Tunnel" and appearing briefly observing Yusuke in the last episode.
The English credits identify the two demons who confront Yusuke and Hiei as Fang (the taller one with a red loincloth) and Fodos (the shorter one with male pattern baldness and a yellow loincloth) but those names are never used in the episode itself. Said names were an invention of the English dub; the demons are nameless in the Japanese anime and both versions of the manga.
