Unforgivable!! (許せない!!, Yurusenai!!) is the 91st chapter of the YuYu Hakusho manga, written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi.

Summary

Yusuke walks in on Toguro standing over Genkai's body. Toguro laments that age had its effect on Genkai, so much so that her final shot with all of her power in it barely tickled him. Losing himself in his shock, Yusuke runs forward to Genkai's side, so fast that Toguro is unable to even see him move.

Genkai opens her eyes and greets Yusuke who tells her to hang on until he can get her to Kurama who can heal her. She tells him not to bother, saying that her time is over and she had known this would happen the day they received an invitation for the Dark Tournament.

She remembers that the prize she wanted for winning the tournament 50 years ago was permanent disqualification but was still forced into participating when an invitation was extended to Yusuke as well. Yusuke is shocked to learn that Genkai and Toguro were teammates in the tournament 50 years ago.

Here, Toguro interjects and explains how he used his own wish to be reborn as a demon so he could escape the effects of aging. Genkai tells Yusuke that everyone has to fight against time and not to repeat Toguro's mistake of running away from that battle. She exhorts him one last time to accept who he is and to remember why he fights before passing away.

As grief washes over Yusuke, Toguro continues to drone on about how he would have been spared the sight of this aged mockery if Yusuke had entered the world sooner. He says that those who live to fight either grow stronger or die and that the moment she chose to stay human, Genkai had died. Enraged, Yusuke tells Toguro to shut up or else. Undeterred, Toguro calls Genkai a belly crawling maggot. Yusuke lunges forward immediately, taking the bait and having his strike blocked deftly by Toguro who follows with a counter that sends Yusuke flying back into the trees.

Toguro compliments Yusuke's improvement, saying his punch was good and that the day was fast approaching where he could finally fight an opponent at 100% of his power. Barely conscious, Yusuke vows to avenge Genkai as the others all begin to sense that something has gone very wrong.
