Prelude to Carnage!! (殺戮のプレリュード!!, Satsuriku no pureryūdo!!) is the 40th chapter of the YuYu Hakusho manga, written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi.
Summary[]
Murg had returned to Suzaku and informed him about Keiko being dearest friend to Yusuke. Suzaku then used the whistle and redirected his minions towards Keiko's school.
In the human world, a parasitic worm entered in Iwamoto sensei and he became violent and started chasing Keiko. As other people also affected by the worms started chasing her, Botan managed to find her and help her hide from them. Botan called Yusuke and informed him of the situation. As they got found by Iwamoto, they started running again and Yusuke realized he needs to hurry. They reached a tower in which Suzaku resides, but the entrance was protected by large amount of humanoid creatures. Having to time to waste in defeating them all, Hiei and Kurama climbed on Kazuma and then Yusuke used them as ladder to get on a open window.
As Yusuke climbed the tower, he met Suzaku, who was playing the whistle with Keiko showing on a screen behind. Suzaku told Yusuke he arrived on time to witness the death of his girlfriend.
