Hiei Joins the Fray!! (飛影出戦!!, Hiei shutsu sen!!) is the 39th chapter of the YuYu Hakusho manga, written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi.
Summary[]
Using Kazuma's sixth sense, the group managed to proceed further while using the shortest route and avoiding traps. Eventually they reached Seiryu's chamber who was waiting for them. Moment later, Byakko came following the group, but was quite beaten and asked Seiryu for some energy and that he will repay him back, but Seiryu told him he was a failure and no longer of use and used his Ghostly Ice Fist to freeze Byakko and then shatter him into pieces. Seeing that Yusuke got angry, but Hiei stopped him and decided he would be taking on Seiryu.
Visible angry, Hiei covered Byakko's body with his mantle and prepared to take on Seiryu. Then in a second, Hiei cut Seiryu to pieces impressing everyone. In the mean time Suzaku was observing the situation and commenting he had to take them himself.
