Genkai's Successor is Chosen!! (奥義継承者決定!!, Ōgi keishō-sha kettei!!) is the 32nd chapter of the YuYu Hakusho manga, written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi.

Summary

Rando blew the branch on which Yusuke was hanging and he fell in the water with the demonic fish. As he was about to be eaten, Kazuma's soul came and both supported and provoked him. Annoyed, Yusuke discharged a large amount of aura that blew the fishes out of the water. Rando was waiting for Yusuke to surface and kill him, but Yusuke appeared behind him using a channel in the water that was leading behind Rando. Yusuke then hit Rando with everything he had, yet Rando still stood up fine. Rando then knocked Yusuke to the ground and started his spell words. Yusuke's head was spinning so he didn't hear what Rando was saying. As Rando finished, he was surprised that instead of Yusuke, he became smaller. Genkai explained that you must hear the spell to work and by simply covering your ears you can defend from it. Yusuke then removed some algae that had entered his ears while he was in the water.

Rando wanted to undo the spell, but Yusuke used that opportunity and knocked him out. Genkai then announced him as her successor. Botan took Rando to take him to jail. Genkai started healing Kazuma's wounds. Yusuke was happy that he would watch the martial arts tournament as his mission was over, but Genkai told him he will be remaining there as she was to train him.
