The Cursed Forest!! (魔性の森!!, Mashō no mori!!) is the 26th chapter of the YuYu Hakusho manga, written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi.
Summary[]
Genkai brought the ones that continue inside her house to an arcade room. Each had to play on the three types of arcades as each type was measuring a different spiritual capabilities. Everyone started competing and Genkai was surprised how many potential good ones were there. In the end 20 people advanced to the third test. For it, Genkai brought them to a forest with demons and told them to reach a certain tree in two hours and then left them.
As everyone one went into the forest, Yusuke eventually met Baldok the Bat Tamer, who attacked him and they started fighting. Kazuma managed to reach the tree first with other members shortly following him. As time was about to reach two hours, Yusuke came out, holding the bat master in his hands, which surprised Genkai that he managed to defeat the strongest demon in the forest. Genkai then announced those who advance and for the fourth test as she didn't expect so many people to reach it, she needed to think of one now.
