The Golden Awakening!! (黄金色のめざめ!!, Kin'iro no mezame!!) is the 17th chapter of the Yu Yu Hakusho manga series, written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi.
Summary[]
Yusuke was told by Botan that he can return to life. Koenma then came and explained that the deadline was tomorrow and they will need help from a human, someone need to kiss him, which will exchange life energy and he will return to life. Koenma then told Yusuke to visit three people in their dreams and explain the situation and hopefully one will understand.
Kazuma woke up with a dream of kissing Yusuke and he waking up. He was totally disgusted and hoped to quickly forget that. Keiko the same dream, but Atsuko pulled all-nighter. Keiko wanted to speak with Kazuma, but he didn't came to school. She was then informed by the principal that her mother went to the hospital as she was sick and Keiko went to visit her. Seeing all that, Botan entered Keiko's mother and spoke to Keiko that she needs to go to Yusuke, hearing that Keiko understood what wasn't a dream, but a message. She rushed quickly towards Yusuke's house and in the last moment as the light was fading, she kissed him. Moment later Yusuke woke up and Keiko hugged him. Botan was thinking that his case finally was closed, but Koenma explained it was actually just beginning.
