The Fractured Friendship (ひび割れた友情!!, Hibiwareta yūjō!!) is the 11th chapter of the Yu Yu Hakusho manga series, written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi.
Summary[]
Sayaka was still clinging to Yusuke wanting to play, but then she saw a girl and sense she was going to be killed. As Eri was about to get hit by a car, her friend Katsumi warned her to stop and saved her. As of lately Eri was feeling weird things were happening to her and that someone was looking at her at night. At school, a teacher was telling Eri to compete with her friend for scholarship. A ghost then appeared behind her and Yusuke hit him, but the ghost explained he had no choice and that he was summoned by another girl. He explained he was a student who killed himself few years ago and had harassed other students, but after meeting the gentle Eri, he came to his sense and now wants to help her as her best friend Katsumi had summoned ghosts to kill her.
Katsumi overheard Eri talking about her and how she really cared for her and didn't want to bother her with her ghost situation, so that Katsumi can focus on her studies and the scholarship. Understanding how good of a friend Eri was, Katsumi understood her mistake and ripped the curse she made and the ghost disappeared. But then the curse appeared on katsumi's arm and reactivated.
