Hello everyone! I'm TyA and I have the pleasure of being the YuYu Hakusho Wiki's Wiki Manager. As your wiki manager, I'll be your community's liaison to full time staff as well as providing assistance the best I can. So if you ever need any help with templates, bots, or anything else you can think of, feel free to leave a message on my wall (or message me on Discord @ty#0768) and I'll see what I can do.
I remember watching YuYu Hakusho on Toonami when I was little and thinking it was so cool. Unfortunately, I have yet to rewatch it now as an adult, despite meaning to. Perhaps now I'll have that extra push :)
Adoption
Hi, all. I'm planing on requesting adoption of this wiki. The last active bureaucrat was in 2017. I see there are lots of admins here, but unfortunately most of them are inactive since couple of years. I see Lelouch is the only still active at times, trying to battle vandalism. So if he doesn't mind, I would like to adopt or if he wish we can double adopt it too.
I'm a long time Wikia user with experience at managing anime/manga related wikis. I want to improve the designs and adding manga related content as that seems to be lacking the most in the wiki and then moving to anime and other projects.
About the latest 2018 version of YuYu Hakusho OVA
After the GMA dub, dubbed the whole series including the Poltergeist movie. The latest 2018 version of this anime's OVA is now on Youtube. Hoping that the Funimation Dub can dub this rather than the ones being voiced in the previous OVA. I know the GMA dubbers are no longer dubbing since the anime is moved in the early mornings and always being replayed. I like to see them dubbed once more since they dubbed in Tagalog. But this time no additional grunts like they did on the series and the Poltergeist movie.

Here's an example, I am at episode 40 of yu yu hakusho, and I knew a certain something was going to happen in the dark tournament saga, but I didn't want to read any comments of yu yu hakusho to know what happened, but when got on this wiki and saw the page, it spoiled what happened to one of the characters, granted I knew but I still wished the page warned about this, rather than just having it on there, like as if the page thought I could see into the future before I even saw the episode of it happening.
So I'm curious if you guys are interested in doing this for the wiki, it's up to you guy.

J Stars Victory Vs
So this is the first time in awhile anyone form Yu yu Hakusho has really been in a game. With Yusuke announced and it seems like Toguro will be announced soon. Is anyone planning on getting the game and what are your thoughts on it. I'll probably get it since im super excited about Yusuke and Togure (and other characters but their not in yuyu hakusho) and the game looks like it will be a lot of fun.
Yusuke's Species
If Yusuke Urameshi's forefather was a demon, and a human from the start, does that make half-human, half-demon, right? Like, Kurama?

Their was something on my mind on Minoru Kamiya's territory. The power Mad Doctor, is it the name for his battle style or his territory? Because I'm curious about the name of his territory's name. If anyone has answers, please leave comments about his territory.
Younger Toguro vs Nappa from dbz
Okay so, Yu Yu Hakusho and Dragonball Z have a lot of things in common. One thing they have in common is buff, strong villains that beat the crap out of people. Who do you think would win, Younger Toguro vs Nappa? Nappa has a power level of about 8,000 and he can survive people self destructing on him and gigantic explosions. Toguro might have a bigger advantage because he can regenerate himself if he loses an arm or is severely injured and don't forget all of his forms and his incredible strength. Nappa has an ability that Toguro doesn't have, he can fly. Who would win? Use logic, guys.
The Tougro's Intimidation
It seems the Toguro Brothers spirit energy is so powerful, anyone looking at them or sensing them will be terrified. Yusuke was intimidated on how Younger Toguro's power is, the fact he survived Kuwabara's spirit sword (the fact he took the hit) and every time those two make eye contact, Yusuke shakes out of fear. Kuwabara was in shock on how he's still alive and saw he bring down a construction building. Even Hiei was nervous when he senses the brothers spirit energy in Ganzo's house where his sister Yukina was held prisoner.

Example:Kaname Hagiri and Minoru Kamiya.
Kaname's Sister
In the episode "Topside", we seen Kaname alongside his sister. What is his sister's name and what are her powers? The least the directors and editors can do is to give her a name so they don't leave us, the "audience", to wonder.
If YYH got a new fighting Game
I know I'm one of many fan out there who wish that Yu Yu Hakusho could get a video game release on the newer generations of systems. I also know many fans in at least the United States wish to at least get a GOOD YYH games for once, since we didn't get Yu Yu Hakusho Forever. So If I had my say on who I'd want to be playable in this game, which would be a fighter, this is who I'd choose to be in it:

Hiei vs. Elder Toguro
It would've been bery interesting if these two fought during the Dark tournament when elder toguro stepped up to fight for the second match but then bui took his place. So i was wondering if elder toguro did fight and hiei also stepped up, who woulda won that fight?
Hiei and Kurama? Really?
I noticed on the poll on non-canon pairings that the Hiei/Kurama pairing is leading. I just really want to know why people support this!! I mean, I find this pair really strange even though it was supposed to be incorporated in the series but later cancelled. But a lot of fans seem to support it. In your comments, state if you are for or against this and give your reasons.

I Know YYH has been finished, Yoshihiro Togashi-san has done it very well. I believe that some of YYH fans don't want this series over, they want another updates, maybe movies or OVA or another episodes. I have no idea that Yoshihiro Togashi will continue again or not in the future. Well, as fans, I can just hope.

Favorite Minor Villain
Does anyone have a favorite minor antagonist in the series that is not the main antagonist of an arc? (Thus no YoungerToguro, Sensui, or the Kings). Multiple characters if possible. Any enemy from before the dark tournament (other than Toguro) would count, becuase it was a much smaller scale then. Also, try to avoid the six reformed demons or Genkai's three students, I'm trying to see if you liked any of the characters that were minor enemies in the dark tournament like Gama or Risho (Even high ranking enemies who weren't the main villain like Karasu and Itsuki would count), though I guess enemies in the Sensui saga other than the Dark Angel count as well.

Hehe. Since I'm new here, I'm still learning for a bit how this wiki works. Well, I think I'll begin the first topic... And It's general topic that asked by lot of YYH fans. Best Technique
Which particular technique do you think is the best in the series? All characters can be taken into consideration.
I think it should be Hiei's dragoon of the darkness flame. It's one of the most powerful techniques requiring tremendous power to control and when wielded correctly it can obliterate almost anything.

Worst character
So, who do you think is the most annoying/worst character in the series?
Mine might be Rinku because his voice is annoying (and unconvincing) and how out of place he seems with the rest of the ally demons in terms of appearance and abillities. Also, DUB Yukina, as while i liked her in the manga and Jap anime as an antithesis to the typical evil, corrupt demon (she wasn't evil at any point, unlike the reformed Kurama), but in a series where the dubbed main cast had stellar voice acting, she stood out like a sore thumb (i hate how her bored sounding voice ruined the scene in which she begs Hiei to not kill Tarukane)
Continuation
If YYH would continue, would you want it too?
Personally, I don't
It was great, and it was short (for big name shonen series standards). All the seasons seemed to play a role in the overall series, with filler arcs removed in the anime (another reason why i prefer the anime). Any extra seasons would seem extraneous
If there is any continuation, maybe a movie (maybe showing Koenma taking over Spirit World like in the manga against his father) or an epilogue episode that showed what happened to everybody, once Yusuke came back (after Eizou).
However, an entire series would not be something I look forward to. I mean there probably would be some contrived reason why humans and demons would have to fight again.
I mean, look how Hunter x Hunter turne…

Manga vs Anime
Which of the two do you prefer or do you like both. Such as the Yusuke's time as a ghost is longer with far more adventures in Volumes 1 and 2 of the manga, or that the Three Kings saga has a larger amount of material in the anime, including the showing of numerous tournament matches.
Ability to Fly
At first, I kind of thought that the ability to fly in Yu Yu Hakusho would only be possessed by demons such as Jin, you know, people who are able to manipulate wind.
However, in the Demon World Tournament, not only did I find out that flying isn't only a Wind Master's power, but there are others who can do it better than them! Souketsu, one of Raizen's old friends beat Jin in a "race" to the sky. And not only that, Jin did not even know that Souketsu had even taken flight! "That's the Wind Manipulator's tragic flaw. You cannot exceed the speed of the wind itself."
So I suppose that means that Jin isn't able to fly faster than the speed of the wind.
But, that leaves the question, how did Souketsu fly? And not only that, Shuu, another of Raizen…
